The ODF localization package includes four resource files containing Resorcerer template ('TMPL') resources. These resources allow you to view and edit ODF resources for localization. Each of the four "Templates for ODF..." files contain slightly different versions of the same templates. Based on the information below, select which file you want to use and install it by dragging it into the "Resorcerer® Templates" folder inside the Resorcerer folder. (If you install more than one of these files, Resorcerer will report an error when launched.) "Templates for ODF 2" should be used when localizing parts built with ODF 2, and "Templates for ODF 1" should be used for ODF 1 parts. (If you attempt to edit resources with the wrong version of the templates, Resorcerer will produce an error message.)
Templates for ODF is the standard package of Resorcerer templates for ODF. It includes templates for the following resource types:
FWab About box
FWft Font
FWdw Document window
FWmb Menu bar
FWpr Part info
FWst String
FWSv "Save As..." info
FWvl View layout
MSTR Multi-string
Due to the structure of the MSTR, FWvl, and FWmb resources, they cannot be opened and parsed directly by the Resorceror data editor. Instead, filter resources ('FLTR') are needed to process the data before and after editing. These resources are also included in the "ODF Templates" file.
Templates for ODF (all data) is the same as "Templates for ODF," but has different versions of the 'FWmb' and 'FWvl' templates. The templates in the "Templates for ODF" files are designed to provide access to information required for localization and display much of the other information in the resources as strings of hex data. The templates in this file, however, parse the entire resources, resulting in slower execution and the display of large amounts of information that probably isn't useful for localization. For that reason, you'll probably not want to use this file.
